Raita is basically a yogurt based salad, and One of the most important dishes on our dining room table. Raita is used to tone down spicy food and add a nice acidic zing to your meal.
Most times when you see raita in a restaurant it will still be white. If you notice, it's because a lot of seeds are used instead of powder. Seeds were a big problem for my grandma, so to make it friendly for everyone we created Bone CleanerTM The Perfect Spice Blend, which we use in this recipe.
Ingredients:
2 cups plain yogurt
1 cucumber
3 Roma tomatoes
Kosher salt just a pinch
1 green onion, chopped
1/4 c chopped cilantro
2 tablespoons Bone CleanerTM The Perfect Curry Spice Blend.
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Direction:
Remove seeds and small dice cucumber and tomatoes and sprinkle the pinch of kosher salt.
in a large bowl add yogurt, diced cucumber, diced tomatoes, chopped green onion, cilantro, Bone CleanerTM The Perfect Curry Spice Blend and lemon juice. Mix well.
chill for 1-2 hours
top with cilantro and/or green onion garnish and ENJOY!
